ex-Graf Zeppelin Being Sunk During Soviet Tests

These photographs are very poor quality, but I felt they were worth posting here due to their unique nature.

Ex-Graf Zeppelin, partially stripped, awaits her fate.



The hulk is rocked by an explosion.



Naval gun fire falls around the ship. Compare to the top photo and note that much of the funnel and some of the superstructure has been blown away.




Battered by bombs, gunfire, and torpedoes, the ship sinks into the Baltic.
